Structural characteristics
The double shell centrifugal pump is a multi-stage segmental structure. The API definition is BB5.
The pump's inlet and outlet are vertical upward, and the inner pump can be replaced as a whole. This series is mainly used for boiler feed water or other high pressure water supply occasions with high safety requirements. The medium temperature is not greater than 210 C.
The pump is supported by sliding bearing and forced to be lubricated. The shaft seal is mechanical seal.
The axial force of the rotor is balanced by the hydraulic balancing device, and the residual axial force is borne by the thrust bearing.
